Task force moderator lays out timeline for Norwalk City road map

Jody, the task force moderator, told members the plan’s chapters are currently with city department heads for review and that she expects to incorporate department input through mid‑August. "The mayor would like it done by October 1st," she said, but added that with editing and formatting the working draft will most likely be ready in the second week of October and the final document by Dec. 1.

She said the group is aiming to present a workshop to the City Council and noted that a council meeting on Dec. 8 could be used to attach the road map to the planning document the mayor referenced during the meeting (referred to in the transcript as the current POCCD). "I'm hoping to get a workshop in with city council to go over it with them," she said.
