At Tuesday's meeting the Sandy Springs City Council approved a number of routine and consent items.
The council approved the meeting agenda and consent agenda by voice vote. Revenue manager Corey Holiness presented two alcohol-license items: a beer-and-wine retail package license for Sandy Springs Food Mart at 8290 Roswell Road and a change-of-ownership beer-and-wine license for Crown Fuel LLC (Shell Food & Gas) at 6385 Roswell Road; staff recommended approval for both and the council granted them.
Council also approved a task order for call-center services with Fanwell Inc./Continuum Global Solutions for $72,314 under an existing contract, and appointed Mark Rosenthal and Michael Seagull to represent the city on the North Fulton comprehensive transportation community council. The council adopted an intergovernmental agreement among Fulton County and Fulton cities for the proposed 2026 transportation special-purpose local-option sales tax (referred to in the meeting as "T-splash 3") to place projects before voters in November; staff noted the city's project list and a maximum city allocation under the proposed tiers.
The council then approved an ordinance authorizing the Fulton County Department of Registration & Elections to serve as the election superintendent to administer a city referendum on redevelopment powers on Nov. 3, 2026. Several items were approved by voice vote with no detailed roll-call tallies reported in the minutes.
