Orange Selectboard enters executive session on personnel, records no action

On Feb. 12, 2026, the Town of Orange Selectboard convened a special meeting at 5:48 PM at the Orange Town Complex and voted unanimously to enter an executive session to discuss personnel matters. Selectboard member Kevin Wilson moved “to enter Executive Session for personnel matters pursuant to 1 V.S.A. § 313(a)(3),” and Kristin Paya seconded the motion.

The board later moved to end the executive session. “Kristin Paya moved to exit Executive Session,” the minutes record; Kevin Wilson seconded, and the board exited executive session at 6:45 PM. The minutes state explicitly that no action was taken during the executive session. Shortly thereafter, Paya moved to adjourn, Wilson seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 6:47 PM.
