Speaker highlights AVP certifications — Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition — as key to student readiness

A public commenter detailed the Audio Video Production (AVP) program's curriculum and certification focus, telling the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Long Range Planning Committee the program prepares students for industry work by offering certifications in Adobe tools. "We get them ready and certified with Premiere Pro. We get them certified with After Effects. We also have them taking Audition," the speaker said.

The commenter tied those certifications to the district's Career and Technical Education (CTE) goals and said keeping software current is "super, super imperative" so students remain aligned with today's standards and can enter the workforce with relevant skills. The speaker warned that without current equipment and software, students' finished projects will not demonstrate their full capabilities. The commenter concluded by thanking the Long Range Planning Committee for considering the program's future needs.
