The committee heard a detailed athletics update covering baseball, multipurpose field and softball dimensions, spectator seating and safety netting plans. Chris Huntress, the athletic designer, said baseball foul lines are planned at about 330 feet with a center field near 390 feet and that the multipurpose field measures roughly 210 by 330 feet, accommodating soccer and lacrosse but not regulation football. Safety netting tied to field fences was described to protect nearby roadways and parking.
On spectator accommodations, Lynn and Chris outlined fixed benches and berm‑embedded seating: the baseball spectator benches were estimated to seat between about 84 and 112 people per 25‑foot run and lower fields have similar fixed bench counts (60–80). Chris described fence heights and backstop treatments and pointed to a potential multipurpose scoreboard sited beyond the right‑field line. "We've worked hard...to get you the most that you can out of these athletic fields," Chris said during the presentation.
