County health contracts and WIC amendment placed on agenda; vaccine MOA clarified

Health department staff explained the MOA formalizes the county's authority to receive and administer vaccines under the federal program and said the WIC amendment increases the county's allocation by a total amount listed in the agenda as $430,222, including $3,000 for breastfeeding peer support and $11,000 for a shopper‑improvement project. "This just gives us the authority to do it additionally," the health staff said about the MOA (Health department staff, Trisha, speaker 8).
