Northern Credit Union project cleared several drawing issues; board requests wetland jurisdiction letter

Jim Ballantyne of Napierala Consulting told the board that the requested plan changes had been made for the W Taft Northern Credit Union proposal at 5004-5008 West Taft Road, but the board asked for clearer labeling and supporting documentation on wetland jurisdiction. Chairwoman Michelle Borton asked for a letter documenting whether the area is jurisdictional and, if necessary, a permit path with DEC; Mr. Ballantyne said a letter dated May 5 had been submitted and that the team would coordinate with DEC if needed.

Board members also asked that bollards and bollard lighting be more clearly labeled on the drawings and suggested readability improvements for the drawing orientation. The applicant agreed to supply the requested documentation and revisions; the board adjourned the case to July 22, 2026 for follow-up.
