Resident complains of inconsistent code enforcement and animal control response

Jessica Parker of 59 Jackson Creek Road told the Town Board she has ongoing problems in her neighborhood and disputes how code enforcement and animal control respond. She said she received a letter from the Town Clerk’s office about an unlicensed dog dated May 18, 2026; after obtaining an updated rabies vaccination she said animal control later issued a ticket for an unlicensed dog on June 12, 2026, which she described as "vindictive" and which a judge later dismissed. Parker said she and her husband are sending video to animal control showing dogs running loose and that they feel neighbors causing problems are receiving exceptions while their family is not treated the same.

The Board did not participate during public comment; the remark was recorded as audience participation and the town said it would look into code and ordinance updates related to noise ordinances and enforcement timing.
