EDC approves updated bylaws and sets approved date

The Economic Development Commission approved revised bylaws after commissioners reviewed a version circulated in advance. Chair (S3) said Janina had sent a corrected copy and asked for a motion to adopt the changes.

"I will look for a motion to approve these bylaws," Chair (S3) said, and a commissioner seconded the motion. After a brief clarification about the approved date, Chair (S3) announced, "So the meeting, the bylaws are approved as of 07/2226," and said she would update and send the finalized document to members.

Members discussed a minor removal request to delete one specific bullet under updates and confirmed they would use the meeting date as the approval date on the final document. The chair noted the bylaws will not be revisited for two years unless changes are needed.

The action was procedural: the commission moved, seconded, and voted in favor. Chair (S3) will circulate the revised file with the approved date once updated.
