EDC: roughly 120 businesses collected; new town website expected in mid-August

Committee member (S5) told the commission that the EDC has collected roughly 120 business entries and that the group could begin building a public directory.

"I think we have enough to start the directory," Committee member (S5) said. Members discussed using the town's forthcoming website to host or migrate listings; Clerk (S4) reported the website is expected to be available in the middle of August.

Commissioners emphasized the need for a clear owner of the process and someone who can perform data entry; the group discussed contacting the town manager to confirm the new IT liaison and the timeline for migrating the list into the website. Chair (S3) said she would follow up to get the liaison contact and ensure incoming commission members are added to the distribution list.
