County board recognizes CC Tech students awarded scholarships from foundation

John Dennady, who identified himself as executive director of the ENJACK Foundation, told the board the foundation "this year alone, we raised over $113,000 for county vocational technical school graduates." The board and school principal presented individual scholarships and recognized students’ academic and service achievements.

Principal McGraw introduced recipients and summarized accomplishments for each scholarship winner. She described Kelly Brown as a student who "has distinguished herself through her creativity, dependability, leadership, and genuine desire to help others" and presented a $1,650 South Jersey scholarship. Additional recipients named included Uritza Hernandez (NJC Amazon scholarship), Gabriella Oja Tapia (AT&T scholarship), Joshua (NJAC International Cooperation Scholarship), and others, each noted for honors such as National Honor Society induction, high GPAs, and community service.

The presentation included applause and photos. Board members thanked the school and the foundation for supporting local students and encouraged continued partnerships between the county and vocational-technical programs.
