Prairie County participants propose outreach to advertise junk-vehicle disposal options

Participants discussed communication channels to reach vehicle owners and clean up county property. A county staffer offered to draft a notice and one participant suggested using the county's publication and social media to reach residents.

The group also suggested targeting outreach to nearby towns and newspapers (mentions included Happenings Prairie County and the local paper) and agreed that plain-language instructions would reduce confusion when owners are asked to claim items or respond to a posting. Staff agreed to draft language and to coordinate with the hauler and Keefer on timing.
