Commission invites youth-sports presidents for work session on field use and scheduling

Councilman Joshua Grenall asked the parks commission to invite youth-sports presidents to a work session to discuss facility requests, scheduling and field use as seasons approach. He named Sarah Bailey (soccer), Lori Baldengro (football) and Corey Magnetski (baseball) as current presidents to be invited and suggested the meeting format be an agenda item so the commission can meaningfully discuss schedules and expectations with the organizations.

Commissioners agreed this should be a recurring work session item to coordinate registration, practice and game schedules with available fields and town resources. Staff and commissioners will reach out to the named presidents to schedule the meeting and request information on registration and season start dates.
