Council confirms dates and council representatives for Area B business outreach

Staff asked the council to confirm dates and council representatives for a three‑meeting outreach schedule for Area B, following a May meet‑and‑greet. Will Petner summarized business feedback from the first session — requests for increased small‑maintenance funds, improved trash services, better e‑bike enforcement and clearer disclosure of revenues applied to maintenance/promotions.

Council picked representatives for the remaining sessions (August 26; October 28; January 27) and discussed whether meetings should be one hour, earlier times for business participation and whether refreshments should be funded from community investment funds, Area B funds or general fund. Staff will begin outreach and prepare marketing materials and logistics following the council’s direction.
