Council approves city‑led outreach to reimagine Cesar Chavez memorial site; artist invited to participate

Staff proposed that the city lead a bilingual, ADA‑accessible outreach process to gather community input on the future of the Cesar Chavez memorial site. After discussion about records of prior donors and the need for clear custodial responsibility, council approved a city‑led outreach program that will invite the original artist and community groups to participate while staff facilitates and documents input.
