Putnam County ratifies participation with Army Corps for Fisher Ridge waterline project

Putnam County Commission approved a resolution July 14 authorizing the countyto participate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Fisher Ridge waterline extension project and ratifying prior county participation, a staff member told the board.

Tim (staff) said the resolution authorizes the commission president and other county officials to execute documents and agreements necessary for design and construction of the Fisher Ridge waterline extension. Commissioners moved and seconded a motion to allow the commission president to sign all necessary project documents; the motion passed by voice vote.

The resolution instructs county officials to continue coordination with the Army Corps on design and construction matters and to sign instruments related to the project as needed.
