The Measure K oversight committee presented its annual report for fiscal year 2024‑25, summarizing revenues, expenditures and the committee’s review work.
John Pollock, the committee chair, said the measure—Pleasant Hill’s half‑cent sales tax approved in 2016—generated approximately $5.6 million in revenue in the last fiscal year and saw about $6.3 million in expenditures and transfers, leaving a fund balance near $3.0 million. "We selected five transactions totaling $5.8 million which was approximately 90% of all expenditures that occurred within that fund," Pollock reported, and said the committee concluded the Measure K funds were expended efficiently and effectively after review and audit. Council members asked clarifying questions about allocations held for police roof and the pond/fountain project; staff said many allocations were authorized but some expenditures will occur in the current fiscal year and be examined in the next audit cycle.
