Council confirms engineers’ reports and orders levies for Assessment Districts 20 and 22

Council held public hearings for Assessment Districts 20 and 22 to consider engineers’ reports and the annual levy of assessments to fund landscape and lighting maintenance. No written protests or public speakers appeared during either hearing, and staff confirmed the majority protest did not exist.

Staff described the process for each district and answered a question about deferred phase two of a downtown Crescent Drive tree project (the follow‑up work was delayed for lack of funds). Council adopted both resolutions by roll call to confirm the engineers’ reports and levy the assessments for FY 2026–27.
