The Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library told the Library Board that its Board of Directors approved $1,000 for the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) for the coming school year and described plans for a broader fall marketing campaign.
"The Board of Directors has just approved $1,000 for the TAG, the Teen Advisory Group, for the next school year," said Angela, speaking for the Friends. She said the group is working on a new brochure, promotional items and outreach tables at banks and community events to grow membership and donations. Angela also described an investment in a new system to track membership and donations ahead of the fall push.
Board members asked practical follow-ups about payment options and membership tiers. Angela said book-sale payments accept cash or Venmo and that lifetime members from previous years remain grandfathered in while the Friends' marketing committee decides on membership tiers. She reported the Friends' email list had grown from 323 to 338 addresses since the last report and agreed to follow up on a precise TAG participation count after confirming records.
