Committee discusses follow-up ivy cleanup in Ranger Woods; volunteers sought

Committee members discussed a follow-up invasive-ivy removal in Ranger Woods to protect mature trees that are being smothered by ivy. The chair described a previous effort two to three years earlier that cleared nearly half the woods and said a follow-up could finish the remaining areas; the event was described as open to the public but historically had modest turnout.

One committee member said, "I was trying to take the lead on that, and I called Vincent probably way too many times, several times, and texted ... and I never got a return callback," and asked for a better way to reach the volunteer contact. Members agreed public works support (notably dumpster access) would be critical and committed to follow-up outreach; no date was set during the meeting.
