Committee approves multiple personnel requests across county departments

Multiple personnel and recruitment items were considered and approved by the committee. Director of Real Property Tax Services Joseph Budinger received approval to create and fill a full-time Tax Map Supervisor (PEF Grade 6 Step 4) with an estimated annual salary of $55,995.16 and benefits of $24,699.47, funded 100% by the County. County Treasurer Jenna Kelley obtained approval to fill two Account Clerk Typist positions (AFSCME Grade 7) included in the 2026 budget.

Other approvals included authorization to fill one Elections Clerk (annual salary $37,674), create and fill a Crane Operator Apprentice and a Janitor in Public Works, permission to fill five Corrections Officer positions for the Sheriff’s Office, and District Attorney Degnan's requests to fill an Assistant District Attorney (6th) and create a temporary Office Aide. Emergency Management also received approval to fill an Emergency Services Assistant. Each request included estimated salary ranges and benefits and was recorded as approved with HR notifications or Personnel referrals where indicated.
