Company proposes 220-foot wireless tower at northeast edge of Beaver Crossing

Chris Riha, representing Industrial Tower West, told the Village Board that his company would like to place a wireless tower on the northeast edge of Beaver Crossing off 406th. "This tower would provide service for remote wireless for people traveling in the area," Riha said, and he described a potential 220-foot guide tower that would require local, state and federal approvals and adherence to setback requirements.

Zoning Administrator Gary Grantski noted that emergency services equipment could be allowed on the structure and that the proposal would need the usual permitting and setback reviews. The board did not take formal action on the proposal at the meeting; further land-use approvals and any required public hearings remain pending.
