Board requests Schluckebiers lower sewer clean-outs; holds executive session on maintenance scheduling

The board directed Clerk/Treasurer Peggy Pankoke to send a letter to the Schluckebiers at 2028 Dimery requesting that elevated sewer clean-outs installed during recent repairs be lowered to ground level. The board noted the clean-outs "extend quite high" and asked the clerk to request corrective action to bring them to the proper height.

Chairman Jerry Zieg moved to enter executive session to discuss maintenance scheduling at 9:03 p.m.; the motion was seconded by Lance Breitkreutz and the roll call vote was unanimous. The board left executive session at 9:18 p.m. Clerk Pankoke reminded trustees that incumbents must file at the courthouse by July 15 and non-incumbents by Aug. 1. Pankoke also reported that swimming-pool rules have changed so a charged cell phone replaces the formerly required land line; the land line at the pool has been removed. A picnic table donated in remembrance of Arlin Upton will be placed in the picnic shelter near the snack shack.
