Applicant seeks extra time to complete enforcement‑related plantings at Squibnocket Drive property

Michael Bocelli, representing Anthony Aveni, asked the Falmouth Conservation Commission to amend an enforcement order requiring hardscape removal and plantings at 42 Squibnocket Drive. Bocelli said contractor availability and a short planting window prevented completion this season and requested the commission allow the hardscape removal to proceed when feasible and require all planting to be completed by April 30 next year.

Bocelli explained the order arose from prior public hearings and that his client has secured a contractor but needs a modified schedule because substantial hardscape removal must precede any planting. Staff advised that the commission sometimes adjusts timing conditions and said an amended order could be drafted to extend the planting deadline to April 30 and keep staff oversight through that date. Commissioners voiced no substantive objections and the commission agreed to close the hearing and take the request under advisement for drafting an amended order.
