Livingston County Board adopts purchasing policy changes, contract approvals, budget amendments and proclamations

The Livingston County Board of Supervisors on July 8 adopted a series of resolutions covering procurement, proclamations, contracts, and budget adjustments.

• RES 2026‑218 — Amending the indigent burial fee schedule (DSS): direct cremation reimbursement increased to $2,600; direct burial reimbursement increased to $5,000; allowance for higher bariatric/oversized costs and a $2,500 private supplementation cap; fees will increase 3% annually starting Jan. 1; effective Aug. 1, 2026.
• RES 2026‑219 — Authorizing a piggyback electricity contract with Constellation New Energy Inc. (Mr. Deming).
• RES 2026‑220 — Awarding the ConnectALL Service Area 1 labor bid to Henkels & McCoy, Inc., not to exceed $703,598.76 (Mr. Deming).
• RES 2026‑221 — Authorizing submission of a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program application to update land use regulations in the Conesus Lake watershed (Mr. Deming).
• RES 2026‑222 — Authorizing Livingston County Dog Control to facilitate NYS dog license applications for dogs released or adopted from the county facility; Undersheriff Bean reviewed operational details and noted 12 dogs currently at the facility.
• RES 2026‑223 and RES 2026‑224 — Budget amendments and transfers for 2026 (Mr. Knapp).
• RES 2026‑225 — Authorizing purchase of two 2026 Chevrolet Tahoes for the Sheriff’s Office not to exceed $112,151.28 (Mr. Knapp).
