At its July 8 meeting the Oneida County Planning & Development Committee handled several administrative and procedural items.
The committee approved the June 24, 2026 meeting minutes on a motion by Billy Fried, second by Bob Almekinder, passed unanimously. Members also reviewed and forwarded 2027 LTE staffing renewal requests to the Executive Committee for budget consideration (motion by Billy Fried, second by Bob Almekinder). The committee voted to forward Rezone Petition #01-2026 (by Joshua and Jacy Przekurat) under the consent agenda to the Oneida County Board of Supervisors (motion by Billy Fried, second by Dan Hess).
The committee discussed a parking matter concerning Lots 1, 2, 19 and part of Lot 18, Block 9, Village of Minocqua; after discussion Billy Fried spoke on behalf of the Town of Minocqua and the committee took no action at this time (motion by Dan Hess, second by Bob Almekinder). The committee denied a requested reconfiguration for property in the Town of Pine Lake (part of SE NW, Section 28, T37N, R9E; PINs PL-586-3, PL-586-4 and PL-586), with a motion by Bob Almekinder, second by Billy Fried; the committee directed the property owner and Jon Bandow to work with staff on a new proposal for a future meeting.
No refunds were recorded. The committee set future meeting dates of July 22 and August 5, 2026 and adjourned at 3:37 p.m.
