Culbertson council adopts multiple 1935 tax levies to fund municipal services and water debt

The Culbertson Town Council adopted a set of tax levies in early March 1935 under Resolution No. 78 to fund general municipal operations, sinking funds for water-plant debt, airport purposes and road maintenance. The council’s adopted levies include a 20‑mill general municipal and administrative levy; a 29‑mill sinking fund levy restricted to retiring refunded water bonds (and a separate 15‑mill levy for the funded debt); a two‑mill levy for municipal airport purposes to be paid into the road fund for airport use; and a five‑mill levy for road purposes.
