Community center construction in Daggett County shows progress on landscaping and flooring

Staff told the Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on Tuesday that the Health Business and Community Center project is making visible progress: landscaping has started and installed flooring is coming together, though interior finishing work remains.

A staff member said crews have begun landscaping and are preparing to lay the remaining floor; Courtney (referenced by name in the meeting) told members the flooring in place "looks really good" and that work is continuing. The Chair noted a construction meeting and lessons-learned lunch next Thursday starting at 10 a.m., with invitations from Jones & Demille and Mark Jensen.

No contract or award was finalized at the meeting; the Chair said the contract discussion will likely return next week for further review. The authority approved routine financial reports and then moved on to treatment-plant items and procurement.
