Town accepts McKinney Bros. truck bid; council allocates payment across funds

The Culbertson Town Council opened bids and accepted the McKinney Bros. offer for a 1/2-ton truck at a special session. The bid acceptance was moved by Robert Traeger and seconded by Iverson and recorded as carried. The bids returned to unsuccessful bidders and the accepted bid provided for delivery on Nov. 1.

At a later meeting the council approved the truck payment allocation: $200 from the Water Fund, $200 from the Street Fund and $1,200 from Sewer Revenue. The minutes record the allocation motion carried. Corresponding minutes also show related decisions on concrete work under a city gas tank, a flashing light for the police car and ordering of equipment and slab work to be completed prior to delivery.

The minutes do not include vendor contract documents or serial numbers; the recorded motions establish the procurement decision and the council’s intended funding split across municipal funds.
