Commission adopts electronic participation policy in unanimous vote

The Mayor's Advisory Commission on Food Access adopted Resolution Number 2026-1 on July 16, creating a policy by which members may participate electronically in commission meetings to align with state open-meeting requirements.

Commissioner Jay moved to approve Resolution 2026-1; the chair seconded the motion. The chair conducted a roll call vote; commissioners present (the chair read Commissioners Jay, Brandt, Uhrick, Glenn, Woods, Muse and Hulse) were recorded as voting in the affirmative. The chair declared the motion carried and noted the policy is now official business of the commission.

Chair said the resolution was being put on the books to ensure the commission’s compliance with state statute and open-meeting requirements going forward.
