Converse County adopts resolution to partially vacate and replat Jenne Trail Road (County Road 34)

Commissioner Trent Kaufman moved to approve and adopt Amended Resolution No. 09‑26, which partially vacates and replats a portion of Jenne Trail Road (Converse County Road 34), and dedicates the replatted roadway for public use, following publication and notice in compliance with W.S. §24‑3‑110. The resolution cites HDR Engineering’s plat recorded June 26, 2026 (Instrument Number 1149382) and specifies a total of 7.23 miles and a 60‑foot roadway width (30 feet each side of the survey centerline). The motion was seconded, approved and the resolution was signed by the board.

The resolution states notice of the proposed partial vacation and replat was published on the county website and in an official county newspaper for two successive weeks and that registered notices were mailed to landowners claiming interest; no claims for damages were received as reported in the minutes. The board approved the replatting to reflect the road’s present location and dedicated the replatted portion for continued public use.

The board’s action formalizes the change in the county road record and incorporates the HDR Engineering plat into county records; staff will record and implement the dedication as described in the resolution.
