Proposal to add farmers market during Music in the Park approved to coordinate with organizers

Taylor Beeler proposed that Earlham host a Farmers Market during Music in the Park events, using the portion of 2nd Street that is already closed for Levitt concerts. She told the council she has spoken with Levitt organizers and that they welcomed the concept.

Beeler clarified the proposed market would be separate from the existing Thursday evening Farmers Market and would operate from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with vendor setup beginning at 3:00 p.m. The council advised Beeler to continue coordinating with the Levitt organizers to ensure compatibility with the concert schedule and operations.

Next steps: Ms. Beeler will continue coordination with Levitt organizers and return to the council if additional permissions or infrastructure needs arise.
