Public works reports water-main completion, water tower overflow and Lagoon Phase II timeline

Public Works Director Gary Coffman told the council the SE Cherry Street water main project has been completed and paid in full. He said crews completed the annual crack-sealing project and continued pothole repairs, mowing, trimming, street sweeping and spraying.

Coffman reported that over the weekend the water tower overflowed, requiring staff call-outs to address the issue. He also said Lagoon Phase II is anticipated to go out for bid this fall. Kramer Services has submitted 18 utility locates for a fiber project in town.
