Board corrects June 17 minutes: relief from ASORCNA was not granted in Nicky A. Reed pardon

The Board reviewed a scrivener's error in the June 17, 2026 record for a prior pardon granted to Nicky A. Reed (AIS#170914) and ordered correction of the Board Action Sheet and minutes. The corrected entry clarifies that, although the pardon was granted with restoration of certain civil and political rights, the Board does not have legal authority to grant relief from the Alabama Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Act (ASORCNA); the record was therefore changed to state that ASORCNA relief was not granted.

The Board directed the Board Secretary to correct the minutes and provide service copies of the corrected Board Action Sheet to parties required by law. The correction is documented in the minute entry and the attached corrected Board Action Sheet appearing in the meeting packet.
