Woodland Hills commission approves August minutes, warrants and financial report; treasurer warns of three unpaid property-tax accounts

The City of Woodland Hills commission approved the August minutes, warrants and the August financial report during its Sept. 23 meeting. City Clerk Lisa Baldwin presented the minutes for approval; Commissioner Gillenwater moved to approve the minutes with Commissioner Horan seconding. Treasurer Jones presented the warrants and financial report; motions to approve were carried after seconding by fellow commissioners.

Treasurer Jones told the commission that a few property-tax payments have been received but three accounts remain unpaid. Jones said owners have until Sept. 30 to pay; liens will be placed on properties with unpaid taxes after Oct. 1. The minutes note that park security cameras were placed under the Park Maintenance budget.

The meeting record contains an inconsistency in the attendance list: Commissioner Hedden is named among those “in attendance” and is also listed as absent. The minutes do not resolve that contradiction.
