Plan Commission sets public hearing Aug. 3 for proposed zoning code amendments on conditional uses and accessory structures

City Administrator Matt Wolf presented proposed amendments to the zoning code at the July 8 Planning Commission meeting, describing updates to allowed conditional uses across zoning districts and noting a conflict between the accessory-structure code and residential zoning districts over the number of permitted accessory buildings.

Commissioner Dave Hovel moved to set a public hearing on the proposed zoning code amendments for the Aug. 3 Plan Commission meeting; Commissioner Josh Gergen seconded. The motion passed without a negative voice (4-0). The public hearing will allow formal public comment on the proposed changes before any recommendation is forwarded to the City Council.
