Board approves VPSA reimbursement and VSBA policy services agreement; personnel report approved after closed session

The board took several formal actions at the July 13 meeting following its closed session.

A motion to approve the VPSA technology funds reimbursement resolution passed on roll-call with all members recorded as voting yes.

The board then considered the VSBA (Virginia School Boards Association) policy-services agreement. The motion passed by roll-call but two members voted no (the transcript records Miss Christ and another member recorded as "Miss Mokian").

Following the closed session, the board also considered personnel recommendations (including a reclassification and an appointment) and voted on the personnel report. The personnel report was approved by roll-call, though at least one member registered a dissent or a conditional approval on a particular position; the board recorded the personnel report as approved.

The meeting ended with closing motions and a final roll call that recorded affirmative votes for the advertised motions.

Roll-call tallies and explicit vote records are preserved in the meeting minutes; staff will incorporate these actions into personnel and procurement records.
