Commissioners approved the River’s Edge subdivision after staff and the applicant described the proposed layout, irrigation availability and platting.
John (presenting) walked commissioners through the parcel map for property along Lynn Rose, noting a canal and the lot positions adjacent to existing homes. Planning staff confirmed the subdivision had been through the required public hearing with no written or spoken opposition recorded and recommended approval consistent with the plat. Commissioners asked about irrigation access and easements; presenters said irrigation exists, agreements are in place and the parcel’s north side will handle the assessor’s needs. The motion to approve the subdivision passed by voice vote.
Because the item was processed as a minor subdivision, staff noted the development met criteria for the classification and that any future larger split would trigger additional review and required easement permissions.
Next steps: staff will finalize necessary recording documents and return any signed plats to the recorder’s office.
