Council approves equipment purchases, authorizes engineering and other routine measures; e‑bike code changes set for review

At its July 13 meeting, Beachwood City Council approved a bundle of resolutions and actions spanning municipal equipment, public-works purchases and professional services.

Actions passed by recorded vote included acceptance of a quotation for tabletop microphones and backup audio recording for Conference Room A (vendor: Root Integrated Systems LLC), a second‑year option for rock salt from Cargill at $71.40 per ton, purchase authorizations for carbide snowplow cutting edges ($25,410) and a Kabuto RTV utility cart ($45,450.01) for Public Works, and acceptance of a $320,655 bid from Neroni & Sons Inc. to replace pool pumps (the project was budgeted at $500,000).
