Commissioners ask for reports on traffic-noise enforcement and annual complaints; motion recorded for October meeting

During commission member commentary, a commissioner moved to request a report on enforcement of traffic noise at the next meeting. The clerk acknowledged the motion and noted it would be added to the upcoming agenda. The motion was made for the record; no formal roll-call vote was recorded during the meeting.

Separately, another commissioner requested an annual complaints data update (types of complaints and disposition rates). Chief Calderwood said the department previously provided a similar presentation and agreed to provide an updated report showing complaints broken down by disposition (sustained, exonerated, unfounded) at a future meeting.

Ms. Medina confirmed staff noted the motions and said the annual homelessness action plan will also return to the commission at the next meeting in October. The meeting then was adjourned.
