Michael Letcher addressed the Cascade County Board of Commissioners during the general public-comment period on July 14, urging county action on a neighboring property he said has been a longstanding nuisance.
Letcher provided his name and address and said he has filed complaints with code enforcement and contacted the county attorney but received no response. He said he and several neighbors have repeatedly submitted complaint forms dating back to 2023 and provided photographs to the county record. He told the board deputies have warned family members to stay off the property because of concerns about needles.
"He will not get back to me," Letcher said of his attempts to reach the county attorney. Letcher asked what the county can do and left copies of photographs with county staff for the record.
County officials acknowledged receipt of the materials for the record; no formal action was taken at the meeting beyond accepting the materials and recording the complaint in the minutes.
