The Code Enforcement Board on July 8 granted an extension for the driveway and brick paver work at 3826 Atlantic Boulevard and continued a separate driveway matter at 336 Greytwig Road to the November meeting.
Code Enforcement Officer Melody Sanderson told the Board the Planning Department had the application for 3826 Atlantic Boulevard in process and recommended additional time; the Board extended the compliance date by 30 days from the prior compliance date of July 27, 2026 to August 27, 2026.
On the 336 Greytwig Road case, contractor Diego Rosas of Sealrite Pavers testified he completed work believing a permit had been pulled; Sanderson said Sealrite submitted an incomplete application and Public Works commented that a driveway cannot be within 20 feet of another driveway, meaning the new driveway would need removal. The property owners requested the matter be continued until they return in late October; the Board continued the case to the November Code Enforcement Board meeting for compliance review and noted that penalties of $50 per day would accrue until corrected.
Chairman Price moved to continue the 336 Greytwig Road case to November for compliance review; the motion passed unanimously.
