A subsequent motion by Commissioner Terranova Nakken to approve the July 2 special meeting minutes, seconded by Commissioner Schwalk, also passed unanimously. The commission then approved financial reports and bills on a motion by Commissioner Schwalk, seconded by Commissioner Matt Lang.
The commission voted to add the commission vice president as a signatory for the city's financial institutions (motion by Commissioner Schwalk; second by Commissioner Tim Britton; roll call unanimous). Members noted special assessments are due to the county by Sept. 1, 2026, and set a special-assessment meeting for July 27, 2026.
