Post Lake commissioners approve treasurer's report and accept 2025 aquatic plant survey

The Post Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District commissioners approved multiple routine actions at their quarterly meeting. The treasurer’s report for the period ending Feb. 28, 2026—which showed total assets of $81,021.21 and net income of $3,708.89—was presented by Treasurer Tim Prunty and approved by motion.

The board also accepted the 2025 Aquatic Plant Survey and authorized work to update the Comprehensive Lake Management Plan with Flambeau Engineering. Minutes show both the survey acceptance and the contract motion passed unanimously. The board discussed committee updates on lake safety, dam gates, CLMN data uploads and website/event outreach.

Non-action items included an offer from Mike Misterek to assist with the district’s '.gov' email domain. The board scheduled its next meeting for May 16, 2026 at the PLIA Building and adjourned at 11:16 a.m.
