Woodland Hills approves warrants, hears property-tax update; about two-thirds of residents have paid

The Woodland Hills commission approved routine financial business and heard that roughly two-thirds of residents have paid their 2025 property taxes.

Treasurer Jones presented the warrants and the November financial report. Commissioner Gillenwater moved to approve the warrants as submitted, Commissioner Horan seconded, and the motion carried. Later, Commissioner Horan moved to approve the November financial report and Commissioner Gillenwater seconded; that motion also carried. Earlier in the meeting, Commissioners agreed to table the November minutes after City Clerk Lisa Baldwin said she had been absent for that meeting and Commissioner Hedden had taken the minutes.

Treasurer Jones updated the commission on property-tax collections, saying the property tax check was mailed and “approximately two‑thirds of the residents have paid.” The commission made no additional fiscal commitments beyond the items on the agenda.

The commission’s finance actions were routine and leave the city’s near-term budget posture unchanged. The commission set its next regular meeting for Jan. 27, 2026, when the minutes and any outstanding documentation will be presented.
