Woodland Hills hears report of vandalism, off‑duty patrol changes; Winterfest drew about 200–250 people

Commissioner Gillenwater reported on public safety matters, including vandalism that occurred in Woodland Hills over the past month. Gillenwater said the city’s new officer, Officer Adam Payne, has adjusted patrol availability and that an officer identified as Terry has been working patrols to cover those gaps.

The commission also reviewed community engagement: Winterfest was described as a success, with commissioners reporting approximately 200–250 attendees. Commissioner DeVillier said she posted photos and a video of the event on the city’s digital channels and plans to add more decorations to the façade. Suggestions for future events included adding chairs for outdoor movie viewing, more lighting for tables and avoiding nuts in baked items.
