The Westhampton Selectboard voted unanimously Wednesday to approve an amended end-of-year reserve fund transfer of $1,600 and to authorize a supplemental accounts payable warrant to cover legal bills and a land survey required for the town’s Land Partnership Grant final report.
Douglas Finn presented the amended transfer request, saying the only change from the original filing was an increase from $1,200 to $1,600. The board recorded that the transfer would move $1,600 from account 01 5945.741 (Insurance and Bonds) to account 01 5141.700 (Assessors' Expense). The motion to approve the amended transfer was made by Selectboard member Jennifer Milikowsky and seconded by Selectboard member Susan Bronstein; the vote was 2-0-0 (6:06 PM).
Finn then presented a supplemental accounts payable warrant, W26-27-SUP, explaining the town needed to pay outstanding legal bills and the cost of a land survey promptly to complete and submit the final report required by the Land Partnership Grant. Milikowsky moved to approve W26-27-SUP; Bronstein seconded. The board approved the warrant by a 2-0-0 vote (6:08 PM).
Selectboard member Susan Bronstein told the board she had a concern but chose to defer discussion until a meeting with a full quorum. No additional business was raised. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous vote at 6:11 PM.
