Corydon council approves final adjustments and accepts completion of N Loop water improvements

The Corydon City Council on July 8 approved final quantity adjustments and adopted a resolution accepting final completion of the Water System Improvements 2025 (N Loop).

Nancy Buss of Hall Engineering reviewed the final quantity adjustments and provided an overview of the project, saying MB Construction "was very good to work with." Councilor Christian moved to approve the final quantity adjustments; the motion carried with Councilors Christian, Dresser, Holmes and Wolfe voting aye.

Council later approved Resolution 2027-002 accepting final completion of the N Loop water improvements by the same recorded vote. The project and its final accounting appear in the meeting claims; MB Construction's invoice of $30,131.70 is included under the water capital project line items in the packet.

The council also discussed the engineer’s certificate of completion during the same agenda topic and recorded appreciation for the contractor's work. No further action was required at the meeting beyond the formal acceptance.
