Deming pool passed inspection but must await state environmental sign-off before opening

The City of Deming Parks Commission was told July 8 that the Sam Baca Aquatic Center "passed" a June 30 inspection by the New Mexico Environment Department but cannot fully open until the department completes its review of the facility plans.
