Middlebury Ethics Commission rejects posted minutes, directs chair to draft consolidated rules

The commission then turned to old business on changes to the Ethics Code and Commission Rules. Members discussed the possibility of consolidating the code and rules and specifically considered "striking section 5 of the rules completely to clean it up," language recorded in the minutes as the purpose of the suggested edit. The commission did not adopt text changes at the meeting but agreed on next steps.

Sharon Bosco moved that the chair provide a clean, consolidated rule sheet for review and a formal vote at the next commission meeting; Jon Holmes seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
